Doha, Qatar

The 2022 World Cup will be held in Qatar from November 21 to December 18, 2022. The small country expects to have 105 new hotels by the time the event kicks off. Already, the Pullman Doha West Bay and JW Marriott West Bay are expected to open this year.

Qatar wants to become one of the world's leading destinations in the coming years.

To achieve this, in addition to huge investments, the country is adding world-class events, such as the soccer World Cup. From November 21 to December 18, 2022, the biggest sporting event will take place in Qatar.

To accommodate travelers in the best possible conditions, the country expects to have more than 105 new hotels and serviced apartments. By then two new luxury hotels are expected to be built, such as the Pullman Doha West Bay and the JW Marriott West Bay.

These properties will open sometime in 2021.

We continue to expand our tourism offering to ensure that guests enjoy the best of Qatari hospitality while having the flexibility to choose a hotel or apartment that suits their budget and needs.

We are pleased to expand our global tourism offering in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030 and provide travelers with more options to experience the best of Qatar.
