Ennismore’s brand Maison Delano, which was launched in Miami in 1995, opens its first property in the French capital in a former 18th century mansion.
Maison Delano Paris offers 56 keys, including 19 suites, all featuring unique Delano’s design and colour palette shades of white, beige, grey and green. Furthermore, the paintings on the walls add a contemporary touch, while the 18th century architecture remind us that we are in a private mansion dating from 1734.
In the Grande Suite Prestige and the Grande Suite Historique, 18th century painted ceilings almost 4 metres high, contemporary furniture by Cassina and artworks from Opera Gallery offer a unique experience. The rooms and suites on the 5th floor, under the roofs, are also characterised by their mansard ceilings, which give a typical Parisian atmosphere.
At the heart of Maison Delano Paris, there is La Chambre Bleue, a new restaurant concept created by Dani García, one of today’s most influential Andalusian chefs. Named La Chambre Bleue in reference to the work of Pablo Picasso, the restaurant will take guests on a journey to the Mediterranean.
Already at the head of a dozen or so restaurants around the world, from Marbella to New York, via Doha, London and Madrid, Dani Garcia is now settling in France, hoping to bring his reinterpretation of Spanish gastronomy to the Hexagon. In the wake of the Spanish painter, Dani Garcia, also born in Malaga, is now bringing a piece of the Costa del Sol to Paris.
The Spanish architectural firm Lázaro Rosa Violán Studio worked on this project in conjunction with Dani Garcia, to transcribe the concept desired by the chef. The design combines the Andalusian and Mediterranean spirit of the table, while respecting the original architecture of the Parisian townhouse. The restaurant's bar is also decorated with azulejos.
The gastronomic offer is also enhanced by a cocktail menu inspired by the work of Picasso, with 10 cocktails named after 10 paintings by the artist during his Blue Period.
The restaurant is part of a courtyard which features a series of lounges, open kitchens, a central bar and two wine cellars set off the courtyard, which extends the restaurant into a comfortable dining room, covered in winter and open to the sky in summer.
The F&B offer is completed by Delano Bar, an almost hidden space which is a contemporary interpretation of the cocktail bar. When the night falls, a DJ set the rhythm of the evening.
