The opening of the double hotel in Singen, consisting of an ibis Styles and an ibis budget, is already the third new project in the region, after Friedrichshafen and St. Margrethen, marking the brand's expansion in the German market.
The Hegau region was chosen as the source of inspiration for the interior design of the ibis Styles Singen. Each floor is dedicated to one of the themes that characterise Singen. The lobby and the 100 rooms are abstracted from the surrounding mountains and volcanic landscapes, while the city and castles play an important role in the interior design.
With the simultaneous opening of the sister hotel ibis budget Singen, the Accor Group is targeting young and price-conscious travellers. The hotel is the first in Germany to feature a new "REBOOST" design in its 60 rooms. The lobby with the breakfast area has been designed in an open industrial look.
While the ibis budget is aimed at a young, price-conscious target group, the new ibis Styles focuses on an upscale design despite its positioning in the economy segment. The offer of the sister hotels includes a breakfast area, a common lobby with bar and a private car park. The operator and franchise partner is SMART Hotels.
Singen am Hohentwiel is an absolutely worthwhile and multifaceted destination. There is hardly any other region in Germany where such a fascinating nature meets such a varied culture. With the opening of the dual ibis Styles and ibis budget project, we are very pleased to be able to expand the region's tourism offering with two internationally renowned hotel brands.
