The Silken Puerta de Irati, which will open its doors on 17 March, is a new 3-star hotel with a strong commitment to sustainability.
Located in the town of Ochagavía, the natural gateway to the Irati forest, this eco-boutique property has 37 rooms, an outdoor swimming pool with views of the Abodi mountain range, a bar and a restaurant serving typical Navarrese cuisine.
The hotel is firmly rooted in the sustainable tourism movement, which is why it has solar panels that provide a large part of the energy consumed, as well as LED lighting that reduces consumption by up to 80%, and the use of recycled and biodegradable materials.
At the same time, special attention has been paid to the carpentry, the façade cladding and the building's ventilation system, which ensures that the air is always clean and renewed, without loss or gain of temperature.
The property also has a charging station for electric vehicles and a bicycle station, so that guests have a space to have their bicycles repaired and maintained.
We usually opt for properties located in cities with more than 100,000 inhabitants, but we have very specific properties to offer this prime leisure location, such as Silken Puerta de Irati, a new commitment of the chain that we are delighted with.
