Continuing its ambitious growth plan in Europe, Radisson Hotel Group announces the opening of two new hotels. One is located at Edinburgh Airport and will open under the Radisson RED brand while the second, operating under the Radisson Individuals brand, will open near Munich Airport.
Radisson RED Edinburgh Airport will open in late 2025 just a short walk from the Scottish airport. The hotel will feature 204 rooms, a restaurant and bar with an outdoor terrace overlooking the airport and 185 sqm of event and business space.
The new property will strengthen the Radisson RED brand portfolio which already includes hotels in London, Glasgow and Liverpool. In addition, the former Park Inn Heathrow has been split into two hotels, creating the Radisson RED London Heathrow. A further property is also planned for Gatwick Airport, with no further information available at this time.
In Germany, the Flightgate Munich Airport Hotel, a member of Radisson Individuals, has just been opened by the group. Located in Hallbergmoos, 10 minutes from Munich Airport, the hotel features 212 rooms, a fitness centre, bar and restaurant, coworking spaces and two meeting rooms.
We pride ourselves on welcoming guests with our unique style and the quality they have come to expect from a Radisson Individuals hotel, offering an excellent choice for sustainability-conscious guests. We have eliminated single-use plastics, offer filtered water dispensers for guests and employees, and rely on user-friendly scanning for a comfortable and sustainable stay in a convenient location.
