Accor has just opened the ibis Styles Sevilla City San Justa where it is strongly committed to young local designers by showcasing their art within the property.
The ibis Styles Sevilla City San Justa features 218 rooms, a meeting room with a capacity of 35 people, a rooftop with a cocktail bar, a swimming pool-solarium with views, a fitness room and three restaurants.
Irene López León, an urban artist born in Barcelona, is the author of original creations that decorate the different areas of the hotel. On the other hand, at the end of September, the digital creator @naranjalidad led the artistic process in celebrating the property's inaugural event. In collaboration with the Instagram followers of @ibisstyles, @naranjalidad created an NFT that will also be presented in the ibis Styles virtual art gallery in the metaverse.
At the inauguration, Nadia Lopes, Brand Marketing Manager Iberia of Accor's ECO brands, explained that "for us, creativity is like happiness, it must be shared. This is why we have launched a programme called Open to Creators in 2021 to promote creativity and art". Digital art and NFTs are particularly highlighted.
ibis Styles is pleased to welcome the bold, forward-thinking artists who bring the latest content to life and push the boundaries of creativity. This year, our annual #OpentoCreators campaign has a unique theme, with a focus on digital artists and NFT creators. We are showing our support for these artistic innovators by providing multiple platforms for them to express their creativity: in our hotels, on our social networks and ultimately throughout the metaverse.
Laure Duberga, Vice President of Business Brands at Accor
The goal of our "Open to Creators" campaign is to democratise today's most advanced forms of creation, digital art and NFT, by involving our audiences in the creative process. Through our social networks, we hope to activate the imagination of guests, fans and followers of ibis Styles, and invite them to collaborate with these talented digital artists.
