Hyatt Hotels Corporation has opened its third hotel in Morocco, which is also its first beachfront resort, the Hyatt Regency Taghazout.
Located north of Agadir, the Hyatt Regency Taghazout nestles in the heart of the Taghazout Bay resort, bordered by the Atlantic Ocean and the Atlas Mountains.
Designed by the Valode & Pistre studio and the Franco-Algerian interior designer Imaad Rahmouni, the 5-star hotel reveals an oceanic style influenced by Moroccan touches. The property has 190 rooms and suites overlooking two outdoor pools and offering a breathtaking view of the ocean or the hinterland.
The hotel also features the Ilel Spa, meaning sea in Amazigh, which is inspired by Moroccan kasbahs with treatments based on Berber traditions and the benefits of the sea. In collaboration with the brands Maisons d'Asa and Phytomer, the menu is based on ancestral rituals and modern methods. A hair salon and a fitness centre with coach and yoga classes complete the experience.
The property also benefits from a very complete F&B offer with the presence of two restaurants, Citron Brûlé and Sud Km 17, and two bars, La Vie en Bleu and the Lobby Bar. The menus are signed by Chef Hicham Anaddam, a member of the Disciple Escoffier Maroc association. The cuisine features Moroccan cuisine, with the use of local products.
Business travellers can take advantage of the various flexible spaces in the conference centre, while children can meet at the Kid's Club Hyatt. Guests can also enjoy a wide range of sporting activities, including water sports.
