Accor brings the brand Movenpick in Sicily through a franchising contract with Mondello Palace Hotel Srl, strengthening its presence in Italy and bringing its portfolio in the Sicilian capital to four.
The signing of a new franchising contract with Mondello Palace Hotel Srl will enable the group to reopen the Mondello Palace Hotel under the Movenpick brand.
Located in a privileged position, Mondello Palace Hotel is a historic building, and furthermore a landmark for the coastal district of Mondello.
Currently closed for a complete renovation of the interior and exterior spaces, by Luigi Smecca Architects studio in Palermo, it will reopen in the third quarter of 2024 under the name Movenpick Mondello Palace.
Once renovated, the hotel will feature 80 rooms, including 14 suites, an extensive conference area, a restaurant, a bar, a spa, 2 paddle courts and outdoor swimming pools.
