Accor continues to expand and strengthen its portfolio in Serbia and the whole Balkan region with the signing of a new flagship Mövenpick hotel in the destination.
Thanks to franchise partnership signed with Promont Group doo, Accor will introduce Mövenpick brand to Serbia this year. New Mövenpick hotel will feature 201 equipped rooms and suites, all rooms with balconies are overlooking Spa Vrdnik, a spa town with strong heritage.
Renamed Mövenpick Fruške Terme Resort & Spa, the hotel is a conversion of already existing hotel opened in December 2019. The property enjoys a good location with the proximity of Belgrade International Airport.
Mövenpick Fruške Terme Resort & Spa is the largest Water World, largest Spa world and the largest Resort Conference Center in Serbia, which was awarded as the “Best investment in the area of tourism in Serbia in 2019”. It is part of the Strategic Master Plan for Tourism Development of Fruška Gora that was passed by the Government of Republic of Serbia in 2021.
The property will include two restaurants and bars, an area for water-related activities and spa, as well as a spacious congress center. Thanks to its location between Serbia’s two biggest cities, Belgrade and Novi Sad, and amenities the hotel will attract business travelers as well as leisure tourists.
The investor of the hotel, Promont Group is one of the biggest companies in Serbia in that operates in the Real Estate, Hospitality, Energy and Distilled drinks sectors, among others.
