German budget hotel chain Motel One has opened its first hotel in Karlsruhe, adopting a design inspired by Germany's highest legal institutions.

Motel One Karlsruhe offers 323 rooms. Right from the hotel entrance, the design theme "Residence of Law" is revealed through various elements: guests can discover the articles of the Basic Law wallpapered on the wall behind reception. Opposite, the most famous article "Human dignity is inviolable" is highlighted. The black and white contrasts of the terrazzo reception desk are reminiscent of the new underground station built in front of the establishment.

The lounge on the ground floor includes a work table and a separate meeting room, and the new Motel One Karlsruhe also houses a bar.

Motel One attaches great importance to sustainability. That's why, like all "Motel One" hotels, the Karlsruhe hotel runs on 100% green electricity. Certified beauty products are free of microplastics and supplied in refillable PET pump dispensers. With the latest equipment, water is also saved, and the organic breakfast offer includes many vegetarian and vegan alternatives.
