Since its creation in 2008, the brand, founded by Serge Trigano and his sons Jérémie and Benjamin, has redefined urban hospitality, creating a collection of 17 hotels around the world. The group plans to expand its portfolio to 50 hotels worldwide.
The Trigano's visionary concept was to create dynamic urban hotels, encompassing authentic living spaces that foster diversity, connection and celebration.

The Mama Shelter adventure began on rue de Bagnolet, in Paris's 20th arrondissement, with the Mama Shelter Paris Est. The two latest additions to the collection are the Mama Shelter Rennes and Dijon, located in Brittany and Burgundy respectively.
Scheduled openings for 2024:
- Mama Shelter Dubai: Scheduled to open early this year, the hotel will offer 197 rooms, 204 apartments, several dining options, a terrace with four pools, an open-air CinéMama and a host of other amenities.
- Mama Shelter Nice: The hotel will open its doors in the Riquier district in June 2024. It will feature 102 dynamic rooms, a restaurant and a rooftop swimming pool.
Future projects span several continents:
- Mama Shelter Medellin: Nestled in Colombia's El Poblado district, this future hotel will feature 150 rooms, a restaurant, a bar, a vast coworking space, meeting rooms and a rooftop swimming pool.
- Mama Shelter Zurich: Located in the Oerlikon shopping district, this Swiss hotel will feature 178 rooms, a restaurant, rooftop space, meeting rooms and even karaoke rooms.
- Mama Shelter Casablanca: A pioneer in Africa, this hotel will offer 92 design rooms, 49 apartments, 2 restaurants including one on the roof, meeting space and a generous 47-metre swimming pool.
- Mama Shelter Singapore: Located on Killiney Road, this boutique hotel will offer 115 rooms, a restaurant and a rooftop pool.
- Mama Shelter Downtown LA: With 149 rooms and suites, festive restaurants and a rooftop restaurant, this hotel will bring the Mama Shelter spirit to the heart of the City of Angels.
