Magma Resort Santorini opens its doors

The inauguration of this new luxury resort marks the first resort in The Unbound Collection by Hyatt in the Greek Islands.

Hyatt announces today the opening of Magma Resort Santorini, the first property in The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand in the Greek Islands. A secluded sanctuary nestled amid the hilltops of Vourvoulos which features 59 rooms, including 24 suites, finished with cozy verandas as well as private pools.

Contemporary design complements the hotel’s surroundings of lava sand beaches, vineyards and the the Aegean Sea. Regarding the F&B experience, it is led by chef Arnaud Bignon of the two-Michelin-starred restaurant, Spondi Athens. Restaurant Magma by Spondi use local and seasonal ingredients, with a signature menu that spotlights the culinary traditions and heritage of the Greek Islands.

Hotel’s features also include sun terrace, infinity pool, a subterranean Lava Spa and Wellness Center, a fitness center, and a 228-square-meter venue suitable for any event. The event space at the hotel can welcome up to 250 guests.

Magma Resort Santorini will be managed by SWOT Hospitality, a leading hotel management company based in Athens.

Magma Resort Santorini joins the collection of independent properties within The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand in Europe, including The Wellem in Dusseldorf, Hotel SOFIA Barcelona, Great Scotland Yard Hotel in London, Hôtel du Louvre in Paris, the iconic Hôtel Martinez in Cannes and Hôtel du Palais Biarritz.
