Les Domaines de Fontenille announces the entry of two partners into its capital: the LVMH group and Anaïs Ventures. This minority investment marks a strategic step in the development of this collection of hotels and estates, already established in France, Spain, and Italy.

With this investment, Les Domaines de Fontenille reaffirm their commitment to offering stays focused on the preservation of heritage and eco-responsibility. Founded by Frédéric Biousse and Guillaume Foucher, the hotel collection follows an approach aimed at preserving the French art of living, renovating historic sites, and adhering to strict environmental standards.

Continuous Expansion

Les Domaines de Fontenille, which currently has 11 properties across France, Spain, and Italy, continue their development. Recent openings include Domaine de Primard, near Paris, and Fontenille Menorca, in Minorca. Other projects are already underway, including a hotel in Perros-Guirec (Brittany), expected to open in the spring of 2025, and a five-star hotel in Aix-en-Provence, slated for 2026. Since the opening of their first property in the Luberon, the brand has attracted a clientele seeking experiences that combine comfort with the discovery of local territories.

Strategic Development and Strengthened Commitment

In 2023, Les Domaines de Fontenille obtained the status of a "Société à Mission." With this new investment, the company plans to acquire and renovate new exceptional sites, ensuring strict adherence to environmental standards while preserving the identity of these locations.

“Fontenille is the story of a lifetime. The arrival of LVMH and Anaïs Ventures by our side is a key milestone as it reflects the quality of the work accomplished in a short time to create a strong and unique brand. We are excited to continue investing in long-term unique destinations that reflect us, while continuing our efforts to upgrade our services.” – Frédéric Biousse and Guillaume Foucher

“This financial investment from the LVMH Group in Les Domaines de Fontenille provides an opportunity to discover a complementary world to the hospitality offering we deploy through our brands. We are happy to support the Founders, Frédéric Biousse and Guillaume Foucher, as well as the CEO, Linda Hazi, to write the next chapter in the development of the brand.” – Jean-Jacques Guiony (LVMH)

“We are delighted to support Les Domaines de Fontenille in the development of this beautiful collection that combines hospitality values, community, and excellence. We are convinced that the vision held by the founders, along with the management team, will allow the group to become a reference in luxury experiential hospitality in Europe and beyond.” – Julien Firmenich (Anaïs Ventures)
