The 16-storey, 350-room “super boutique hotel” will be located in the heart of London's West End. Its opening, initially scheduled for 2020, was delayed by the Covid-19 health crisis.
The Londoner Leicester Square Hotel aims to become the world's first super boutique hotel and will feature 350 rooms, suites, and a 200 sqm tower penthouse.
It will also provide six food and beverage spaces including a signature restaurant with Mediterranean flavours, a rooftop bar set on the eighth floor and contemporary Japanese dining, a gastro tavern and a lobby bar.
The future hotel will offer a highly developed offer of event spaces with a 568 sqm ballroom, two private screening rooms as well as modular meeting rooms. It will also provide an urban spa with gym and wellness centre and a club for residents.
The Londoner Leicester Square hotel is the result of a £ 300million investment and seven years of work. The property has secured a £175m "green loan" from HSBC UK in order to ensure its building exceeds the BREEAM Excellent category in environmental and sustainable performance.
The hotel will be operated by Edwardian Hotels London and is a member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts' Legend Collection.
