limehome steadily grew its portfolio during 2022, entering several new European markets, and keep up the momentum in 2023 with a new opening in Bremen, Germany.
The Balgequartier, located in the german city of Bremen, is a new inner-city district along Langenstraße which is currently being developed by Joh. Jacobs and Co. Four buildings of the mixed-use development will house shops and office space.
The new property of limehome will be housed in a former bank from 1911 which overlooks Bremen’s market square. The company will operate 82 apartments set across the second and third floors.
We are proud to set new accents in Bremen’s city centre as a project partner of the renowned Joh. Jacobs & Co Group. For us, this shows serviced flats have broadly arrived as a flexible hospitality concept in the real estate sector. Contrary to the market trend, our model offers real estate developers attractive return opportunities.
Josef Vollmayr, managing director and co-founder of limehome
We are delighted to become a substantial part of Bremen’s historic city centre. With its Neo-Renaissance style arcades, the Kontorhaus is an eye-catcher of the historic building ensemble. With our digitally operated design flats, the new Kontorhaus will be a place that combines tradition and digital innovation.
