In July 2023, the Leonardo Royal Cologne Bonn Airport will open its doors, marking the group's second hotel near the airport and its fourth property in Cologne.
The Leonardo Royal Cologne Bonn Airport will have 250 rooms, including the "Leonettes", hotel rooms designed by women for women, with facilities and location entirely tailored to female travellers.
The hotel will also feature a 130 sqm lobby bar, a restaurant with an outdoor terrace for 250 guests serving Levantine cuisine, as well as a 200 sqm conference centre and six flexible conference rooms covering an area of almost 800 sqm, accommodating up to 568 people in total.
The 227 m² inner courtyard is directly adjacent to the meeting space and is suitable for outdoor events. The property also has a 24-hour business centre, an airline crew lounge and a gym.
The hotel is also committed to sustainability, with its own photovoltaic system on the roof, but also food products are produced regionally and plastic packaging and disposable products are largely avoided. In addition, guests have the option of opting out of room cleaning in favour of social projects with the "green option".
Like all Leonardo Hotels properties, the Leonardo Royal Cologne Bonn Airport will be certified with the Green Key eco-label by the end of 2024.
The opening of the Leonardo Royal Cologne Bonn Airport is a further milestone in our successful expansion, which we are pursuing consistently and dynamically. With this new property, we are not only strengthening our presence at one of Germany's most important airports, but also responding to our guests' growing demand for premium comfort in a prime location and a first-class venue for meetings and events, connected to the international business world.
