The midscale conversion brand continues its expansion in Europe with the opening of its first property in the UK, the Garner Hotel Preston Samlesbury. The hotel, operated by KRO Hospitality, embodies the rapid growth of the brand since its launch in 2023.

A Strategic Expansion in Europe

The development of Garner Hotels in the UK is part of a broader strategy by IHG in Europe. With more than 117 properties already open or in the pipeline, Garner Hotels is positioning itself as a key player in the midscale segment.

At the same time, the brand is strengthening its presence in Germany through an agreement with NOVUM Hospitality to open more than 50 properties. The first signings in Turkey and Italy further confirm this momentum.

Garner Hotels prioritize an essential experience, with optimized comfort and a welcoming atmosphere. The Garner Hotel Preston Samlesbury embodies this approach with its 80 rooms and its signature “Made with Character” design.

The hotel features a restaurant, the Village Brasserie, offering British cuisine made with local produce, as well as a Lounge Bar. It also provides flexible meeting spaces and a fitness room. Notably, it stands out with its welcome wall, Sketches of Humanity, which highlights diversity and the connection between travelers.
