Hyatt continues its expansion plans in Europe with the opening of a new property in Germany, the Kennedy 89 Hotel in Frankfurt. At the same time, Gori Vicens, Vice President of Marketing and Communications for the Inclusive Collection - World of Hyatt, Europe, announces his departure from the group.

Hyatt has entered into a franchise agreement with SIC Hospitality GmbH for Kennedy 89, a luxury hotel under development. The new property, which is due to open later this year as part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand, is part of the group's ambitious plans to expand its luxury brands in high-growth markets in Europe.

Located in Frankfurt's Sachsenhausen district, the hotel will feature 181 rooms, including 68 suites, all with private balconies. In addition, the rooms will also be equipped with mini kitchenettes to accommodate the needs of long-stay travellers. The hotel will also feature a restaurant on the ground floor as well as independent bars on the first floor and on the roof, a gym, an event space including meeting rooms.

To emphasise its position at the corner of Kennedy Allee number 89, from which the hotel takes its name, the curved façade, designed by Eike Becker, will reflect the flow of the Main River. The hotel's geometric design and cubic approach will be complemented by high-end interiors designed by Studio Lux Berlín, which give a slight nod to the 1960s style.

As one of the world's leading financial centres, we are delighted to announce plans for The Unbound Collection by Hyatt's first hotel in the city with this unique property, marking an important step in the impressive growth of our luxury brand in Europe.
