The Hoxton, part of the Ennismore group, is opening its first establishment in Austria, The Hoxton, Vienna.
The Hoxton, Vienna, located in the city's third district, opened its doors in a 1950s modernist building designed by Carl Appel and formerly occupied by the Austrian Chamber of Commerce. With 196 rooms, the hotel offers facilities such as the Auditorium, a rooftop swimming pool, the Cayo Coco bar, the Bouvier bistro and the Paradise lounge.
The interiors, designed by AIME Studios, are inspired by the mid-century aesthetics of Carl Appel and the Wiener Werkstätte movement, while preserving the original elements of the building. The rooms, divided into different categories, feature touches of early 20th-century Austrian design.
The Bouvier restaurant offers cuisine developed in partnership with renowned chefs Jeremiah Stone and Fabián von Hauske Valtierra. Every meal contributes to a charitable cause, with an optional donation added to each bill in aid of The Gruft, an aid centre for the homeless in Vienna.
For events, the hotel offers versatile spaces including the Auditorium and The Apartment. In addition to its facilities, The Hoxton, Vienna, is home to The Hox Gallery, showcasing the work of local artists, and a boutique selling handcrafted products.
