Hilton continues its expansion in Turkey with the addition of 10 new properties, totaling more than 1,000 rooms. This initiative is part of the brand's strategy to increase its presence in the country to over 120 hotels, both operational and in development.

Key New Openings

One of the most highly anticipated additions is the first DoubleTree by Hilton in Sarikamis, which will also mark the opening of Hilton's first ski resort in Turkey. The resort will offer 84 rooms, including 18 suites, and facilities such as a bar, a restaurant, and a wellness center with an indoor pool and traditional Turkish bath. The resort is located near the Sarikamis ski slopes, known for their natural "crystal" snow.

In Bodrum, the Tapestry Collection by Hilton will open in 2026 in the Bitez district, becoming Hilton's fourth property in Bodrum. The resort will feature 55 rooms, including eight suites, and will offer various dining options, a spa, a pool, and relaxation pools.

Expansion of Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton by Hilton Brands

Hilton is also expanding its limited-service brands with several new Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton by Hilton hotels across Turkey. These openings will mark Hilton's first presence in cities such as Tarsus, Bitlis, Pendik, and Adiyaman.

The new hotels will offer rooms and services including fitness centers, restaurants, and meeting spaces. Among the upcoming properties is Hampton by Hilton Izmir Bornova, scheduled to open in 2025, which will feature 185 rooms close to the city's economic center.

A Milestone Year in 2025

The year 2025 will be a key moment for Hilton as the chain celebrates its 70th anniversary in Turkey. Among the major projects, the Hilton Istanbul Airport is set to open in summer 2025, enhancing the brand’s airport hotel offerings. Additionally, the Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus, one of Hilton’s oldest hotels outside the Americas, is currently undergoing a major renovation and is expected to reopen with a refreshed design.

This ambitious expansion further strengthens Hilton's position in Turkey, a key market for the brand in the EMEA region.

“We have more than doubled our presence in Türkiye over the last 10 years and continue to see tremendous opportunity to grow our portfolio. With this latest announcement, an additional 1,000 rooms will be available for travellers in Türkiye through expanding our focused service offering with eight new signings across our Hampton by Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn brands, as well as introducing DoubleTree by Hilton to Sarikamis and Tapestry Collection by Hilton to Bodrum. As we move towards our 70th anniversary in Türkiye, we look forward to the upcoming opening of the Hilton Istanbul Airport in 2025, the introduction of new brands and the much-anticipated unveiling of the newly refurbished Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus – our longest operating hotel outside of the Americas.” - Mike Collini, vice president, development, Central, Eastern & Europe, Hilton
