The year 2022 has been rich in openings for Hilton in EMEA, particularly in the group's key markets, and 2023 looks to be just as promising with many highly anticipated hotels from the group's various brands.
As Simon Vincent, Hilton's Executive Vice President and President, EMEA, said, "For the first time, Hilton in EMEA has surpassed 1,000 hotels in the system, including operations and pipeline, an incredible milestone that signifies a quadrupling of our presence in the region over the past 15 years.
Following a strong 2022 expansion for the group in this region, Hilton plans to open more than 50 new properties from this year. This is a significant pipeline that will enable the group to further strengthen its presence in these key markets.
In the United Kingdom, a Hampton by Hilton hotel is due to open in the summer of 2023 in the heart of London, and the following year the city of Glasgow will host the first Motto by Hilton in the country.
Motto by Hilton also made its debut in the Netherlands with the opening of Motto by Hilton Rotterdam Blaak, marking the brand's first hotel in Europe. In 2024, the Curio Collection brand will enter the Dutch market with the Kasteel Gemert Eindhoven, Curio Collection by Hilton.

Eastern Europe appears to be an increasingly attractive market as evidenced by the opening of the Saski Krakow, Curio Collection by Hilton hotel in the Polish capital, which marks the brand's debut in the country.

At the same time, a new Double Tree by Hilton hotel will be built in Colombes in the Paris region.
The Nordic countries are also a new playground for hospitality actors, as demonstrated by the inauguration of the Iceland Parliament Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton, which opened its doors in Reykjavik, the Icelandic capital.
Finally, Hilton is also taking an interest in African countries with no less than two openings planned in Morocco, the DoubleTree by Hilton Ben Guérir which marks the arrival of the first international branded hotel in the city, and Conrad Rabat Arzana, which marks the first foray of the Conrad Hotels & Resorts brand into Morocco.
