This is a joint project between Mercan Properties and the Hard Rock International group. Hard Rock Hotel Algarve will be located in Portimão, Portugal, and construction is scheduled to begin in early 2024. The opening will strengthen the hotel group's global presence.
Nestled near Praia do Vau beach, the luxury hotel will feature 275 rooms and suites, as well as 150 branded serviced apartments. It will combine luxury, music and cultural immersion.
The Hard Rock Hotel Algarve will feature three restaurants, three bars, three outdoor pools, a Rock Spa, a gym, a Rock Shop, a sports area and a beach club for guests of all ages. It will also offer the Hard Rock Roxity Kids Club for younger guests.
The opening of Hard Rock Hotel Algarve is also expected to generate over 400 jobs in the region during construction and ongoing operations, starting in 2024.
