Grand Hyatt La Manga Club Golf & Spa

Hyatt Hotels announced the opening of the Grand Hyatt La Manga Club Golf & Spa, the first Grand Hyatt in Spain and the fourth in the collection in Europe.

The luxury property is owned by Grupo Inversor Hesperia, a Spanish-based hospitality company that owns a portfolio of 28 properties in Spain and Andorra with nearly 4,000 rooms.

Located in Murcia, in southeastern Spain, the hotel overlooks the Calblanque Natural Park and the Mediterranean Sea. It underwent extensive renovations before opening and its Mediterranean architecture is inspired by Moorish influences. It offers 192 rooms designed in collaboration with the design firm Room 1804.

As its name suggests, the Grand Hyatt La Manga Club Golf & Spa boasts three of Europe's great 18-hole golf courses as well as a golf academy and training center. Guests can also enjoy seaside dining and a wide range of wellness services, and sports enthusiasts can unwind on the 28 tennis courts and 7 padel courts, as well as at the soccer center or enjoy the cricket facilities. Workers can take advantage of eight flexible meeting rooms and a 400-square-meter ballroom will be available for events.

"Expanding our luxury, lifestyle and leisure portfolio is central to Hyatt's plan to grow our brand presence across Europe. We are grateful for our ongoing collaboration with Grupo Inversor Hesperia, which has made Grand Hyatt La Manga Club Golf & Spa a shining example of the Grand Hyatt brand's ability to deliver on its promise to celebrate the iconic in small details and beautiful moments." - Javier Águila, EAME Group President, Hyatt

"The arrival of the Grand Hyatt brand in Spain through La Manga Club is undoubtedly a milestone for our company and for the Spanish tourism sector as a whole. We are convinced that with this new hotel, which stands out for its exclusive services and location, we will offer unique experiences to our guests and generate new value for the Murcia region." - Jordi Ferrer, CEO of Grupo Inversor Hesperia

"We are very proud of our new property, and we are confident that its meticulous balance of inventive cuisine, quality service, world-class facilities and holistic care will be a winning combination for anyone looking for the perfect place to escape along this spectacular stretch of Mediterranean coastline." - Ángel Holgado, general manager of Grand Hyatt La Manga Club Golf & Spa
