DeLuna Group will inaugurate its new property Gran Hotel Luna de Cádiz within 2 years. The hotel will be located in the Nuevo Mirandilla stadium.
DeLuna Group has been the successful bidder in the tender launched by the Cadiz City Council for the acquisition of the Nuevo Mirandilla stand, where the future hotel will be located. This Wednesday, 28 September 2022, the acquisition process was finalised for 9.8 million euros. The mayor of Cadiz, José María González, the CEO of Unión Comercial Granadina (Unicosa) and the president of DeLuna Group, Vicente de Luna, signed the deed of sale.
With a planned investment of 25 million euros, the Gran Hotel Luna de Cádiz will be a 4-star property with 250 rooms. It is expected to occupy seven floors and will have an area of 17,000 square metres.
The project will have a wide range of rooms, both for families and business travellers. There will also be rooms with direct views of the football pitch in the form of a box.
The hotel will also include summer and winter swimming pools, a spa, two floors of restaurants with outdoor terraces, an entertainment area for families and a space on the seventh floor for rooms for social and corporate events. Another of the elements associated with the project is the creation of a beach club on Cadiz beach, which will be located very close to the hotel.
We believe that the uniqueness of the hotel, located in the football stadium itself, will create a great social movement among the people of Cadiz, who will want to hold their social and business events in these rooms, which also have a view of the pitch.
