Eurostars Hotel Company, the hotel operator of the Hotusa Group, will open a new property in Toledo in 2023 under the Áurea brand.
Eurostars is in the final stages of construction of a hotel in Toledo, which will operate under the Áurea brand. The property will be located in the heart of the old city and will be the fourth to open in the city.
The seven-storey hotel will have 67 boutique-style rooms, including suites, double rooms and lounge rooms, dining areas, a wellness area with spa and fitness room.
In 2008, the Hotusa Group acquired the seven estates that will house the future hotel, most of which are historic buildings. These are a group of buildings of great heritage value located in the heart of the historic centre of Toledo, in the Barrio de los Canónigos or Pozo Amargo, in an enclave classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The team of architects and anthropologists in charge of the project has worked with the aim of "preserving, enhancing and adding value to the historical heritage of the estates on which the future hotel is built".
The Áurea Hotels brand was launched in November 2021, and one of the added values associated with the brand is to connect the client with the destination, through the history and legend preserved in the buildings that house its properties.
