The first Bulgari hotel in Spain will be built in Madrid, more precisely in a palace of the city, thus allowing the Spanish capital to increase its luxury accommodation offer.
Bulgari Hotels will open two properties in Tokyo and Rome this year, in 2025 it will be Miami Beach and the Maldives and in 2026 it will land in Los Angeles. Spain is also part of the group's expansion plans.
Indeed, Silvio Ursini, Executive Vice President of the hospitality division, has predicted that "in six months we hope to announce something" in Madrid. In particular, he explains that "we are looking and we have a wonderful opportunity in our hands".
Although there are no details yet on the exact location of the hotel in the Spanish capital, Silvio Ursini said that "we have found a real gem. It's a spectacular place, a palace, in a noble neighbourhood. It is a real emerald".
According to the Executive Vice President, the price of a night's stay in London is 1,500 euros and 2,000 euros in Paris. He added that "although it is too early to give a figure, these are the prices we are looking at for Madrid", a city that "is starting to be ready for our rates".
