Baglioni Hotels & Resorts has officially opened its latest Milanese hotel, Casa Baglioni, in the design district of Brera which became a new member of the partner network The Leading Hotels of the World.
Casa Baglioni offers 30 guest rooms and suites, each designed by Milanese architects Spagnulo & Partners. The spaces are decorated with major artworks by famous Italian and international artists and various artwork from the 1960s by Hans Hartung.
Casa Baglioni offers 7 different types of accommodation, from Superior Rooms steeped in the spirit of ’60s Milan and its art and design, to the Brera Presidential Suite, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, a private terrace and living area.
Intricate design details include lighting designed by Panzeri, wallpaper by Rubelli, fabrics by Dedar and taps and fittings by Zucchetti. The hotel also features pieces from the designer Gala Rotelli’s “Cromie domestiche” collection, metalwork, and hand-decorated craft ceramics.
The Casa Baglioni cuisine will be headed by stellar Italian Chef, Claudio Sadler, who has moved his current Milanese restaurant, Restaurant Sadler, and its Michelin star, to Casa Baglioni. Seating 36, its exclusive location will showcase local traditional dishes and contemporary cuisine. The F&B offering also includes a wine cellar for tastings.
Guests of Casa Baglioni can discover the hidden corners and wonders of the Brera District with private tours organised by the hotel, such as A walk through Brera Art and History, In the footsteps of Gio Ponti or Taste of Brera.
