Meliá continues its conquest of the Milanese luxury market and will install its young luxury brand The Meliá Collection.
The luxury hotel will be located 400 meters from Piazza del Duomo and will offer 31 contemporary-style apartments, divided into three distinct spaces: bedroom, bathroom and living room with kitchen. It will follow in the footsteps of the Gran Meliá Villa Agrippina in Rome, which opened 10 years ago and gave impetus to the company's expansion in the luxury segment in Italy.
Three hotels are already present in the city: the Meliá Milano, the INNSiDE Milano Torre Galfa and the ME Milano. A fourth hotel will make its debut this fall, the Palazzo Cordusio, by Gran Meliá. It will be located in one of the city's most famous Renaissance buildings in Piazza Cordusio.
The Meliá Collection's new hotel will be the group's fifth hotel in the city. The Meliá Collection entered Italy just one year ago with the exceptional Tenuta di Artimino, a former Medici estate in the Tuscan countryside.
This addition demonstrates Meliá Hotels International's commitment to growth in Italy with a total of 6 hotels in Genoa, Milan, Rome, the Tuscan countryside and Florence. The 4 luxury brands are Grand Meliá, The Meliá Collection, ME by Meliá and Paradisis by Meliá.
