Adagio is closing out 2023 with record growth and a significant strengthening of its brand. With a total of 1.7 million guests welcomed to its 130 aparthotels across Europe, Adagio achieved an occupancy rate of 79%.
"All these results underline the relevance of a renewed hotel offer, a hybrid offer "100% apartment, 100% hotel" which corresponds to the deep aspirations of a clientele balanced between private individuals - for example, to travel with the family at the lowest cost - and business travellers, who may be seduced by the idea of feeling "at home" far from home". - Xavier Desaulles, CEO of Adagio
The growth of Adagio's business is in line with the rising trend of bleisure, combining business travel with leisure stays. Over the past year, Adagio has also strengthened its presence by opening new establishments in France and Europe, as well as carrying out major renovations at some of its sites. In addition, customer satisfaction has risen uniformly across the network, consolidating the brand's reputation for quality and service.
In parallel with this operational growth, Adagio launched the "Next Adagio" strategic project, characterised by an overhaul of its visual identity and a new brand promise focused on relational hospitality and well-being in the city. The brand also extended its reach by becoming the title partner of a sports sponsorship programme, embodied by skipper Éric Peron and his maxi-trimaran in the Arkea Ultim Challenge-Brest.
Adagio has also continued its efforts in terms of environmental sustainability, recording a significant reduction in its energy consumption of around 11%. In addition, collaboration with designer Thomas Delagarde and manufacturer Ligne Roset Contract has resulted in the creation of eco-responsible furniture for Adagio Access establishments, praised for its aesthetics and its Eco-Impact "A" certification.
Over the coming year, Adagio plans to continue its expansion by opening new establishments in France, Europe and China, with the ambitious goal of reaching 200 aparthotels by 2028. Seven new hotels will open in 2024:
- Adagio Original Abidjan Marcory
- Adagio Original London – Whitechapel
- Adagio Original Heidelberg
- Adagio Access Rouen – Centre
- Adagio Original Porte de Camargue
- Adagio Original Boulogne-Billancourt Kermen
- Adagio Access Brussels – Airport
Finally, 2024 promises to be a key period for Adagio, with major sporting and cultural events such as the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the anniversary of the Normandy and Provence landings, and the Tour de France.
