AC Hotel by Marriott Inverness

Marriott has just opened the first property under its AC Hotels brand in Scotland, more precisely in the city of Inverness, marking its ambition to develop its lifestyle brand in Europe.

The four-storey AC Hotel by Marriott Inverness is the largest hotel in the Scottish city, comprising 191 rooms. All rooms include desks, open closets and integrated bathrooms, with guests able to opt for a lavender turndown service.

The property houses an AC Lounge with a fireplace, which will serve cocktails including a locally inspired gin and tonic and local craft beers, as well as an all-day European restaurant with a riverside terrace. Leisure facilities include a 24-hour fitness centre with a riverside terrace.

The hotel is located on the banks of the River Ness on Glebe Street, overlooking the Kessock Bridge and within walking distance of the city’s bars, restaurants and Eden Court Theatre.

AC Hotel by Marriott Inverness is managed by Hotel Co 51, which also operates properties include Moxy Edinburgh Fountainbridge, Courtyard by Marriott SEC inn Glasgow and Moxy London Excel.

We are honoured to open the first AC Marriott in Scotland and it’s in a great position, close to the start and end of the renowned NC500 in the capital of the Highlands.

Wayne Androliakos, UK regional director of Operations for Hotel Co 51

The lifestyle AC Hotels brand currently operates over 210 hotels in 30 countries and territories, with recent openings including its debut in Melbourne, Australia.
