The company closed the agreement for the 5th hotel in Italy with the acquisition of the historical site ex-Dogana that will bring in the capital the "hybrid" concept of hospitality on 21,000 square meters. A 90 million euro investment.

After openings in Vienna, Bologna and Delft in 2020, The Student Hotel lands in the capital by the end of 2023. With the acquisition of the historic ex-Dogana site in the San Lorenzo area of Rome, TSH Group's total investment in the Italian market reaches €450 million. The new hotel will open its doors in one of Rome's most authentic neighbourhoods, San Lorenzo, home to one of Europe's largest universities and student communities.

The Student Hotel's "hybrid" hospitality concept is confirmed, designed to welcome students, tourists, neighbours and entrepreneurs to learn, stay, work and have fun, all under one roof.

With an investment of around 90 million euros in the city of Rome, TSH San Lorenzo will develop into a 21,000 square metre hybrid structure, including 444 rooms for students, hotel guests and young professionals, as well as spaces for co-working, meetings and events, where guests of all kinds can meet and exchange ideas. In addition, the project includes numerous green areas and areas dedicated to sports, events and recreational activities, which will be completely open and accessible to the public.

Outside of Rome, The Student Hotel has announced a number of openings in the coming years : Madrid and Toulouse in 2021, Barcelona Provençals, San Sebastian, Paris La Vilette, Glasgow, Porto Bonjardim, Lisbon Carcavelos, Florence Belfiore, Florence Manifattura Tabacchi in 2022 ans Torino in 2023.
