Starwood Hotels signed a partnership with LIKEtoKNOW to allow its clients to reserve a room from a photo published on the social network.Tribute Portfolio launched a partnership with the online public shopping service LIKEtoKNOW, through which travelers may book a stay in one of its two new hotels in Paris, the Metropolitan and Dokhan's, on Instagram.Starwood Hotels group is thus the first hotel chain to partner with this service.
It is enough to double-click on any photo shared on the social network that has the hashtags @tributeportfolio, #independentmoments and #liketkit. An email will be sent that includes direct links to book a reservation on a hotel's website.
"Within a context where half of travelers worldwide use their smartphone to plan and book their stays and where users are increasingly numerous to check Instagram to find travel ideas, our partnership with LIKEtoKNOW.it is an additional means to help our customers "stay independent" in the City of Light," explained Dave Marr, global manager of the brand Tribute Portfolio.
