A non-mixed hotel without alcohol opens in Egypt

Located in Hurghada, Le Roi Soleil hotel addresses a muslim clientele and conforms to their religious principles, offering no alcohol for sale and dedicating an entire floor to women.

Egypt has opened its first hotel without alcohol and mixing between men and women. Located in Hurghada, on the rivers of the Red Sea, Le Roi Soleil is welcoming its first guests to its 134 rooms and 35 suites, with a floor exclusively reserved for women and equipped with a dedicated pool.

The objective of the new three-star establishment is to respond to a growing demand from Muslim tourists, in the context of an Egyptian tourism crisis. Egypt is therefore joining Malaysia, Turkey, and even Australia in the list of countries that offer establishments conforming to Muslim principles.
