Taras Ettl named Managing Director of Steigenberger DMCC in Dubai

Deutsche Hospitality announces that Taras Ettl has been appointed new Managing Director and Vice President of Middle East and Asia Operations at Steigenberger DMCC (SDMCC) in Dubai. SDMCC is a subsidiary of Steigenberger Hotels AG and is responsible for all activities outside Europe.

Originally from Austria, Mr. Ettl has just completed a six-year stint as Vice President of Development for Middle East and Africa at the InterContinental Hotels Group in Dubai.

Deutsche Hospitality brings together three separate hotel brands under a single umbrella: Steigenberger Hotels and Resorts, Jaz in the City and IntercityHotel. The group operates 100 properties and more than 20,000 rooms, according to data published by Hospitality ON as of January 1, 2017. Deutsche Hospitality announces that a further 29 hotels are currently at the development stage.
