Three key appointments at Radisson Hotel Group: Yilmaz Yildirimlar, new Area Senior Vice President for Eastern Europe, Russia and Turkey; Tom Flanagan Karttunen appointed Area Senior Vice President for the United Kingdom, Ireland and Western Europe; and Tim Cordon, Area Senior Vice President for the Middle East and Africa.
Yilmaz Yildirimlar began his career with the Group in Vienna in 1995 and held several management positions in the Radisson Blu hotels in Amsterdam, Manchester and Bucharest. Since 2017, he has played an important role as Area Senior Vice President for Central and Southern Europe and will add new responsibilities to his current position as the new Area Senior Vice President for Eastern Europe, Russia and Turkey (EERUT).
For his part, Tom Flanagan joined the Radisson Hotel Group more than 20 years ago and has grown within the company, holding various management positions in a number of business areas at Radisson Blu Hotels in Copenhagen, Beijing, Manama, Hamburg and Galway. In 2009, he was appointed Zone Vice President for Eastern Europe and Russia and then Senior Zone Vice President for Northern Europe. Today, he assumes new responsibilities as Area Senior Vice President for the United Kingdom, Ireland and Western Europe (UKIWE).
