
The Honolulu-based luxury hotel chain has announced the appointment of Brent Shiratori as Vice President of the Global Brand Group and Oswaldo D. Lopez as Vice President of Construction and Project Management.
A triple major in marketing, accounting and management information systems, the new Vice President of Global Brands will be responsible for brand strategy through creative development and content strategy for the web, social media and other channels, as well as overseeing the brand's intranet environment and media asset management. Brent Shiratori began his career at Outrigger three years ago and founded the brand strategy company Aidia Marketing and has held senior positions with brands specialising in marketing and advertising. He has received several awards that highlight his skills and expertise in the field.
For his part, Oswaldo D. Lopez will identify, manage and coordinate the implementation of major investment projects for the Group in terms of budgeting, tendering, construction contracts, project management and scheduling. His background includes management positions at Selena International, Oasis West Realty and Hilton Worldwide. The new Vice President of Construction also holds program certificates in Financial Management and Hotel Real Estate Investment, Asset Management and Leadership in Energy and Environmental (LEED) Core Concepts and Strategies.
