After managing Mövenpick Hotel & Resorts prior to the takeover by AccorHotels, Olivier Chavy takes over at RCI.
Founded in 1974 in Indianapolis, Resorts Condominiums International (RCI) launched the concept of vacation exchanges within timeshare properties. The company claims to be the world leader in holiday exchanges and claims to have the largest network of residences, destinations and products for timeshare owners.
Olivier Chavy began his career at Barrière by quickly becoming General Manager of Hôtel Normandy. After 10 years with the French group, he joined Hilton Worldwide where he stayed for almost 7 years before moving on to interior design. He finally returned to his first love in the summer of 2016 when he took over as head of the Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts group. The acquisition of the group by AccorHotels led him to migrate to the United States to take over the presidency of RCI as he told the Hospitality ON editorial team.
