There is a new organization to accelerate the group's transformation. Dominique Desseigne, President of the Groupe Barrière, intends to give it new impetus.
The group Lucien Barrière is heritage. Founded in 1912, the group owns several iconic hotels and casinos. In addition to more than 17 hotels, with an 18th in 2019 with the Carl Gustaf Saint Barth, the group claims 33 casinos and more than 120 restaurants in its operations.
Dominique Desseign says: "Since its creation over a century ago, our family-owned Group and its staff have demonstrated their capacity to modernize innovate. In pursuit of this ideal, particularly to face a tourism and leisure world undergoing much change, that I wanted to implement a new organization."
After investing 215 million euros in renovations between 2014 and 2017, Dominique Desseigne launched a new project: the transformation of the group. In July 2018 he turned the position of Transformation Manager over to his son, Alexandre Desseigne-Barrière, who joined the family business in 2014 after an MBA in Hospitality Management.

He entrusted him with the position of EVP, Hotels F&B and Group Transformation
Philippe Perrot, continues in the position of EVP, Finance, which he has held for more than 14 years, and Support Functions, which he has held for more than 2 years.

Emmanuelle Anglade joins the groupe after nearly 4 years as VP Customer Strategy and CRM at Accor. she assumes her functions within the Barriere group as EVP, Marketing, Sales and Technology.

Eric Cavillon, EVP, Casinos, also takes responsibility for Casino Development France.
Christine Deloy becomes EVP, Development Hotels and International Casinos of the group she has been with since 1988 and where she has gradually climbed the ranks.

New F&B concepts, new wellness concepts and new collaborations, the Groupe Lucien Barrière plans to continue to keep on changing .
