She progressed to the position of Senior Underwriter at AIG and then made her first foray into the hospitality industry in 2001 as Corporate Counsel for The Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group. Wagner stayed with the group for 15 years. In 2017, she became Head Counsel for AP Legal & Business Affairs Consultancy, her most recent role prior to joining MEININGER Hotels.

The opportunity to join MEININGER Hotels, right now, as General Counsel is extremely exciting. MEININGER's vision, the brand's potential and the extremely strong team, professionally speaking, have persuaded me to take this step. I am very much looking forward to working together.
