Mark Willis will join Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts in January to oversee the company’s entire Asian operation.

With two decades of experience in management, operations and business development in the global hospitality sector, Mark Willis will soon join the global hospitality firm’s executive team.

The firm announced that it currently operates 12 hotels and resorts in six Asian destinations, including two openings this year, the Mövenpick Resort & Spa Boracay in Philippines and the Mövenpick Suriwongse Hotel Chiang Mai in Thailand.

British-born Willis who completed senior management programmes at Cornell University in the USA and holds an MBA in International Business from Oxford Brooks University in the UK, says he is "looking forward to […] accelerating the firm’s business development strategy in the region".
