BWH Hotel Group announced today that Lawrence (Larry) M. Cuculic has been named president and CEO by the company's board of directors. Mr. Cuculic has served as the company's senior vice president and general counsel for the past 12 years and will assume his new role as president and CEO on December 1, 2021.

Ishwar Naran, chairman of the board of BWH Hotel Group said: 

Along with my fellow board members, I have great confidence in our decision to appoint Larry as our new president and CEO.

Prior to joining BWH Hotel Group, Mr. Cuculic was Executive Vice President of Legal Affairs and Corporate Secretary of Wabash National Corporation. Prior to that, Mr. Cuculic served as vice president of legal affairs and corporate secretary of American Commercial Lines, Inc. and was a partner in the law firm of Gambs, Mucker & Bauman. Prior to his retirement from the U.S. Army, Mr. Cuculic served as a Judge Advocate General Corps officer in various legal positions, including as a military judge. Mr. Cuculic earned his bachelor's degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point and his J.D. from Notre Dame Law School. He also earned an LL.M. from the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General School and graduated from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College.

Mr. Cuculic takes the helm at a key point in the company's history. Under the leadership of outgoing President and CEO David Kong, BWH Hotel Group has grown from one to 18 brands in all segments of the chain, from economy to luxury.
