With over 15 years of international experience in leadership HR roles, Laura Moreno Salinas brings valuable expertise in talent acquisition, employee development, and cultural transformation to MEININGER Hotels.
Having started her career in hospitality, she has significant experience in the sector, including managing human resources for several Azimut Hotels across Europe and Hilton Hotels in London.
Before joining MEININGER, she held key roles in global technology companies in Berlin, where she implemented innovative strategies to optimize HR processes.
“Laura Moreno Salinas’ expertise in scaling businesses, her experience in working with international teams and in promoting employee engagement, will make a significant contribution to the further development of MEININGER's people strategy”, says Ajit Menon, CEO of MEININGER Hotels.
As MEININGER Hotels continues to expand across Europe, it leverages digitalization and talent management strategies to support its growth. The company, which currently employs 1,270 people, aims to reach 1,330 employees by 2025. This target is supported by investments in employer branding, training programs, and a new e-learning platform. Employees are also encouraged to participate in sustainability and diversity initiatives, reinforcing the company's culture.
"After exactly a decade away from the industry, I am excited to return to hospitality and actively shape the HR strategy of MEININGER Hotels in such a dynamic and international environment. It is particularly important to me to foster a corporate culture that not only attracts talent but also retains it in the long term—through innovative initiatives that support employees, promote equal opportunities, and uphold environmental responsibility”, says Moreno Salinas about her new role.
