Hotel operator The Lux Collective has announced the appointment of Jérémie de Fombelle as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, confirming its commitment to developing in-house talent.
Jérémie de Fombelle is originally from France where he graduated from Vatel International Business School after a stint at the University of Law in Paris and post-graduate programs at Cornell University.
He started his career with Victoria Hotels & Resorts as Sales Director - Europe based in Vietnam before moving to Cambodia to manage La Noria Hotel in 2002.
Between 2004 and 2013, he was appointed General Manager of various hotel operators under the Belmond brand, part of the LVMH portfolio, across South East Asia. He moved to Shanghai in 2013 to oversee the opening of a hotel for the Wanda Hotels & Resorts group.
He finally joined The Lux Collective in 2014, first as General Manager of LUX Le Morne - Mauritius before being appointed Regional General Manager for Mauritius.
In his new role, he will aim to strengthen The Lux Collective's positioning by focusing on awareness strategies for the group's portfolio of brands around the world, while empowering employees.
