In July, Lyria's Board of Directors appointed Eric Dehlinger as the new CEO and Philipp Mäder as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Eric Dehlinger succeeds Fabien Soulet, who is taking up a new position within the SNCF group, after having been at the head of Lyria for three years. During his term of office, he introduced the Lyria 2020 concept, which now offers renovated, high-performance double-deck rolling stock and 30% more seats between Switzerland and Paris.

Eric Dehlinger, who is of French origin, has many years of experience in rail transport. He has held various positions in the field of freight and passenger rail operations and service management.

From 2008 to 2013, he was Director of Operations for VFLI before finally joining SNCF. His most recent position was Director of TGV Operations in the Atlantic zone. He was instrumental in organising the commissioning of the two new high-speed lines to Bordeaux and Rennes.

Philipp Mäder, who has been Head of SBB's International Passenger Traffic unit since June 2022, is now the new Chairman of the Board of Directors of Lyria SAS. A native of Switzerland, he has a comprehensive educational background with degrees from the University of Oviedo and the University of Berne.

An economist by training, he has almost 20 years of experience in project management and leadership. During his career, he has held the positions of Head of Fleet Management, Deputy Head of Long Distance Traffic at SBB and Co-Head of the Department of Public Transport and Transport Coordination of the Canton of Berne.
