Centara Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of Michael Henssler as its new Chief Operating Officer.
Having, nearly 30 years of industry experience, Michael Henssler has held senior positions in Europe, the Middle East, and China and his career includes leadership roles within Kempinski. His notable positions encompass President - China and Managing Director of Key International Hotel Management, a Chinese joint venture of Kempinski. Henssler's most recent role was Chief Operating Officer - Asia at Kempinski.
As the Chief Operating Officer at Centara, Henssler will lead the commercial, operations, and development divisions, collaborating closely with the senior executive team to drive growth. His strategic direction aligns with Centara's ambitious goal of doubling its portfolio and positioning itself as a top 100 global hotel operator by 2027.
