Appart'City will continue to grow in 2023, supported by a restructuring of its accommodation and services offering and a new brand identity. To support the progress of its strategy and enable the Group to achieve its objectives, Stéphane Forbeau joins Appart'City as Chief Operating Officer and Hamady Fofana as Group Sales Director, following the retirement of Michèle Baladou. Both are members of the Executive Committee.
Reporting to James Bendali, Executive Vice President Operations, they are responsible for ensuring that the Group's operational strategy is properly implemented across all its operational and sales teams.
Stéphane Forbeau, Chief Operating Officer of Appart'City
With over 25 years' experience in major international companies in the hotel and cleaning sectors, both in Asia and in France, Stéphane Forbeau leads Appart'City's team of five Regional Directors. As well as implementing the Group's strategy, he ensures smooth communication between the experts and operations on the ground. He puts his passion for hospitality at the service of quality, exceptional customer experience and operational performance, underpinning the upmarket positioning of the aparthotel network.
Hamady Fofana, Commercial Director at Appart'City
With over 15 years' experience in managing sales teams, particularly in the serviced urban residence sector, Hamady Fofana's mission is to inspire and guide his teams towards ambitious goals while fostering a collaborative and positive working environment. Appart'City has around one hundred establishments in France, as well as in Belgium and Switzerland. With 10,300 fully-equipped flats located in city centres, the network is highly complementary, both in terms of territory, with consistent coverage, and positioning, with a range of accommodation available in three categories: Classique (2 and 3 stars), Confort (3 stars) and Collection (4 stars). The company has adopted a corporate social responsibility (CSR) approach aimed at sustainable and responsible tourism. Nearly half of its hotels are certified by the Clef Verte label, with the aim of achieving 100% certification for all aparthotels by the end of 2024.
