Accor's Board of Directors proposes two appointments

The appointments were decided at the last meeting of the Board of Directors on 19 February 2020.

The proposals will be submitted to the approval of the Company's shareholders at the 2020 General Meeting. The first proposal is for the reappointment of Mrs. Iris Knobloch, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors and Lead Director, as an independent director for a term of three years. Next, the Board decided to propose the appointment of Mr Bruno Pavlovsky, Chairman of CHANEL SAS and Chairman of Chanel's Fashion Activities, as an independent director, also for a three-year term. Mr. Bruno Pavlovsky has previously held the positions of President of Chanel's Métiers d'art, Vice-President of the Chambre Syndicale de la Mode Féminine, President of the Influence and Public Policy Commission of the Comité Colbert and President of the Fondation de l'Institut Français de la Mode. He is also an independent director of Rémy Cointreau and Chairman of Goossens Paris and Eres.
