Today, The Vineyard Group is delighted to announce the appointment of Kara Hackett as its new Marketing and Sales Director. She will be responsible for developing and implementing the sales and marketing strategy for The Vineyard, Donnington Valley Hotel and Spa and The Vineyard Cellars, and ensuring the Group achieves its goals.Kara will be based at the Group’s five star Berkshire hotel, The Vineyard, and will manage the hotel’s unique programme of events. The introduction comes following the unveiling last year of a series of refreshing new developments, including new wine initiatives and menus plus the installation of a voyeuristic glass wine vault where they marked the arrival of the 30,000th bottle.Previously at Mason Rose, a highly regarded Sales, Marketing and PR Agency for the luxury travel industry, but for 14 years prior in senior Sales and Marketing roles within the von Essen hotels and its predecessors Cliveden and Royal Crescent Hotel.Account Director at von Essen hotels and later moving on to Mason Rose, a highly regarded Sales, Marketing and PR agency for the luxury travel industry, Kara has over 15 years experience as well as a diploma in catering management.Kara Hackett, says, “The Vineyard has a unique offering with a famed reputation for matching fantastic wines to food with an truly innovative tasting menu created by Executive Chef, Daniel Galmiche.
