In Scotland, near Aberdeen airport, the new brand by Marriott International is welcoming its first guests. Other Moxy Hotels are scheduled to open in the United Kingdom.

The Moxy Aberdeen Airport is part of the brand concept addressing Millennials, with a large number of common areas: these spaces will include a bar as well rooms dedicated to relaxation and entertainment. The 200-room address of is right near the airport of Scotland's third largest city. The hotel has meeting rooms as well as restaurant areas open 24h/7 that offer snacks, freshly squeezed juice and a coffee bar.

Moxy Hotels' portfolio will grow significantly in the years to come, with Moxy London Excel (beginning 2017), Moxy London Stratford (mid-2017), Moxy Edinburgh Airport (end 2017), Moxy Glasgow Collegelands (beginning 2018), Moxy Bristol Downtown (début 2018), and Moxy London Heathrow Airport - whose opening has not yet been announced. As of January 1, 2016, the new conglomerate of Marriott International and Starwood Hotels & Resorts is now the leading hotel operator worldwide with 5,640 hotels for a total of 1,108,852 rooms worldwide, according to data published by Hospitality ON.
