The Board of the Directors of the Swiss hotel group Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts has appointed Olivier Chavy as new CEO. He will take over the leadership in September 2016 to replace Jean-Gabriel Pérès, who should make an announcement in the next few days regarding his new position in another international group.
Afterwards, Olivier Chavy became President and CEO of Wilson Associates, a global interior architectural design firm. He will assume his new position in September 2016 along Jean-Gabriel Pérès, who will support the transition in leadership. Improving distribution, yield management, integration, and driving growth by building on the existing development pipeline through management contracts will be the priorities of the newly appointed CEO.
Jürgen Fischer, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts, declared on this occasion: “I am sure that Olivier will propel the company into the next chapter of growth, building on the impressive, existing development pipeline, which will allow us to grow Mövenpick's network to more than 100 upscale, full-service hotels in the very near future.”
The new CEO Olivier Chavy emphasizes: "I look forward to driving the next phase of growth for the company with the support of the MH&R board, the expertise of the management team and the strong relationships with our business partners."
